There is a debate that computers make people get more isolated as well as lose some social skills. I advocate such opinion because as people who are using the computer and the Internet have increased, some social problems have occurred. As such, I will elaborate why I advocate such opinion.
The important point worth noting is that nowadays, folks don’t need to meet offline to work and to study through using the Internet instead of meeting people. For instance, in the office, workers communicate with colleagues through e-mail or messenger programs, while, in school, abounding students do research through the use of the Internet instead of reading books and articles as well as when they have some inquiries, they just ask to people online. As a result, they do not need to talk with real people that much in general, so they do not have enough experiences of making suitable relationships and solving problems. Consequently, their social skills have diminished.
