Introduction
The gambling addiction is one of the serious global issues because the percentage of people who suffer from gambling addiction has become increasingly larger as more and more gambling is available. Therefore, I started to question about this phenomenon. What makes people to expect winning when gambling gives very little chance? Is there a strategy to make a ‘safe’ bet? I chose one of the most popular casino games in order to analyze the probability of winning, which is roulette. This leads to my research question, “How can people plan the best strategy to win the roulette game?” aiming to find the mathematics inside the systems of roulette and its best winning probability.
About Roulette
To begin with, the rules of roulette must be understood. There are certain vocabularies used in casino games such as Betting, Wheel, No more bet, Chip, Dividend and Dividend rate. Roulette is one of the most popular games in the casino. The word roulette is originated from French word, small wheel.
