한국어 초록

구비문학은 현대사회 속에서 어떤 모습으로 그 생명력을 운용하고 있는가. 아니면 더 이상 구비문학은 터를 내릴 기반을 상실하고 말았는가. 이러한 물음에 대한 대답의 실마리를 찾는 작업이 이 논의의 출발점이다.
재담 곧 우스운 이야기는 구비문학의 넓은 세계 가운데서 현대사회에 들어와서까지 홀로 살아남기에 성공한 갈래이다. 더욱 컴퓨터 통신의 우스개 이야기 공간이 등장하면서 재담은 전자언어를 소통체계로 하는 화자와 청자 사이에서 구비문학의 구술성인 적층성과 공동작의 원리마저 계승하며 제 2의 부흥기를 맞이하고 있다.

영어 초록

The verbal communication of oral Literature recovered a vitality in the space of modern mass media. Especially the energetic genre which succeeded the tradition of verbal communication well by today is jaedam(humorous tales).
Traditional jaedam divided into short jaedam, jaedam tales, jaedam sori, jaedam drama. Nowdays pansori kwangdae’s jaedam sori & jaedam drama have been succeed by profssional entertainers, also non kwangdae’s short jaedam & jaedam tales have been succeed by ordinary people.
Recovering of the verbal communication is highly contributed by the advent of Internet. In cyber space does jaedam also evoke laughs in the various form of discourse. The cyber language is not fixed like the language of written Literature. The cyber Literature become always collaboration by the effect of the reader’s active paticipation and also tends to be piled up.
In short, the cyber Literature shares the principle of the verbal communication with oral Literature in the secondary sense. Jaedam is form of discourse to create laughing. A laugh makes human being generous & happy. So that is kind of the power.
That is why jaedam can get attracted. That laugh has the label of quality. This white laugh such as lofty humor, wit, insincere exaggeration makes men considerate. The pure of laugh without an evil intention aims world of a creative paradox. A satire imply a passion of a criticism. Even a curse is an emotional expression which contains an imprecation. Because of that a laugh can be laid beside a curse.
A laugh makes each individual feels free, make society well off and function criticizing society. A discourse of laugh has power to changing society. In here, educational method for laugh raises it’s head. The laugh can be improved by education. It expands Imagination. It is important which kind of laugh dominate the society.
The scholars of oral Literature are responsible to lead the discourse of laugh of culture of mass media into the good way.
