The purpose of this study is to define the manegement of physical education curriculum in elementary school and suggest the date for normalizarion of curriculum of it.
The subjects are 281 elementary school teachers(male:178, female:103) who serve at Chunnam province. The questionnair which is used at this study is made through pilot study through 50 teachers who are teaching physical education in primary school and is orgarnized objective, management, and teaching phase.
The resuls are as follows:
1. The analysis if objective, objevtive of physical, affective, and socail development show average, the level of achivement of objective is bellow average, and there is not difference between character of teachers in level of achivement of it.
2. The analysis of administration domain of physical education in elementary school:
1) Administration of physical education curriculum show bellow average, loss of class and class to invert other class is more than other subjects.
2)The cause of loss of class in physical education is that intellectual subject is emphasized and teacher have spended time to routine work.
3.The analysis of teaching domain;
1) The degree of application of mevement education is average. Teachers neglect their teaching materal,
2)The event which male teachers teach with confiendce is run in basic monement domaine, a vaulting horse of gymnastics domain, and soccer in game domain and ramale of they is mat exercise, a vaulting hours of gymnastics, run in basic monement domain, and rythmn and express monement.
