I have perform side step and shuttle run for 3 days a seek during 6 seeks in order to see the agility training effect for 129 children of G. W elementary school. and we have analyzed the effects of ahility training and exercise transfer by the school year, by the gender and by the measuring point of time and finally we obtained the following results.A. The side step training began to take effet after 2ndm 4th and 6th weeks later, and after 2weeks. it marked the highest training effect (F=2.62, p<.05).
B. The side step training effect by the school year and by the gender came out as follows: 8.29 times by the male medium-school year students. 7.72 times by the remale mediun-school year students, 7.11 times by the male upper-school year students . 7 times by the female low-school year students. 6.77 times by the male low-school year students and 6.14 times by the female upper-schoold year students. And the medium-school year students have shown the greatest increase in records.
C. The shuttle run training hegan to take effect after 2nd. 4th and 6th weeks later, and after 2 weeks, it marked the highest training effect ( F=2.37. p<.05).
D. the shuttle run training effect by the school year and by the gender shows the following increase in point: 2.58 point by the male mediun-school year students.
2.22point by the male upper-school year students, 2 point by the female low- school year students, 1.88 point by the male low-school year students. 1.71 point by the remale mediun-school year students and 1.15 point by the remale upper- school year students. Male students have shown greater trainingeffect than female students in medium and upper-school year and on the other hand, female students have shown greater training effect than male students in low-school year.
E. There was no exercise transfer effect for shuttle run and side step
In concluwion elementary school students are undergoing the flurishing time for agility, thedeciding factor of nervous system. By the school year. the medium-school year students have shown better training effect than female students. by the measuring point of time. the record has shown the greatet increas afer 2 weeks. And there was zero- transfer when changing the event after 6 weeks of agility training.
It seems that there is a characteristic pattern in each basic exercise by the area performed in infancy and early childhooe. That is, we can see that specific pattern is concerned in the performance of each exercise and there is no general pattern concerning the performance of all kinds of exercises in common.
We, therefore, have drawn a conclusion that it is important for elementary school students to experience various kinds of exercise patterns.
