본 연구는 초등학교 통합학급 비장애아동의 자아개념과 장애아수용태도와의 관계를 실증적이고 구체적으로 규명하여 성공적인 통합을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 광주광역시에 위치한 3개 초등학교 5학년 남녀 283명을 연구대상으로 하여 자아개념과 장애아수용태도에 대해 분석해 보았다.본 연구를 위하여 사용된 측정도구는 두 가지로 자아개념과 장애아수용태도에 관한 설문지이다. 자아개념에 관한 설문지는 정종진(1996)이 사용한 검사지를, 장애아수용태도를 측정하기 위한 검사도구는 김미숙(2000)이 사용한 설문지를 기초로 본 연구자가 예비조사를 통하여 연구에 맞게 수정․보완하였다. 초등학교 통합학급 비장애아동의 자아개념은 성별, 통합경험 유․무에 따라서 전체적으로 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 자아개념 하위영역인 사회적 자아개념에서는 여학생들이 남학생들보다 자아개념이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.
영어 초록
The purpose of this study was to investigate definitely relations between non-disabled children's self-conception and the attitude toward disabilities in inclusive classroom. It was also to offer basic data of successful educations for integrating. The following was the brief description of the result of this investigation.First, non-disabled children's self-conception was revealed that there was generally no difference on gender and whether they were experienced or not in inclusive classroom of elementary school, but girl students's self-conception was revealed higher than boy students's it in society self-conception of self-conception's subordinate sphere.
Second, non-disabled's attitude toward disabilities in inclusive classroom of elementary school was no difference on gender, but there was difference whether they were experienced or not in education for integrating. attitude toward disabilities of students had not experienced for integrating was highly revealed in friendship and studying sphere.
Third, it had generally not any difference between self-conception upper and lower group for attitude toward disabilities, but there was difference between the two of emotional self-conception in subordinate sphere. students's average were shown higher than else of lower group on self-conception in life and studying sphere for attitude toward disabilities.
Fourth, in relations to self-conception and attitude toward disabilities, it is shown that there are meaning relation to between emotional self-conception on subordinate sphere of self_conception and attitude toward disabilities. attitude toward disabilities of group having lower emotional self-conception was high but it of group having upper emotional self-conception was lower.
