한국어 초록

본 연구는 유대인 양육법의 특징과 인디언 양육법의 특징을 살펴보고 브론펜브레너의 생태학적 체계이론을 기반하여 각 변인을 비교분석하여 향후 전인적인 아동발달을 위한 양육법의 대안을 제시할 수 있는 기초적 연구로서의 역할을 하는데 그 목적이 있으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
미시체계와 중간체계에서의 비교기준은 ‘가정’이며 유대인의 가정은 아버지 중심, 인디언의 가정은 어머니 중심이었다. 외체계에서의 비교기준은 ‘교육제도’이며 유대인의 교육제도는 5세에서 16세까지의 아동을 대상으로 무상의무교육을 실시하고 아동은 부모와의 합의하에 일반학교와 종교학교를 선택할 수 있으며 학교는 자율적 교육방침에 따라 운영되었다. 인디언의 교육제도는 미국의 교육제도를 따르며 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교, 초급(기술 대학), 대학(College) 그리고 대학원(Professional School)로 구분된다. 고등학교 과정까지는 무상의무교육이며 장학금과 지원제도가 발달되어 있어 ‘교육의 천국’이라 불리었지만 그들의 사회에 적용되지 못했다. 거시체계에서의 비교기준은 “종교”였으며 유대인의 종교는 유대교, 이슬람교, 기독교, 드루즈파의 네 개로 구분, 이 중 유대교가 가장 많으며 인디언의 종교는 자연과 동물 등을 신성히 여기는 토테미즘과 유사한 방식을 보였다. 시간체계에서의 비교기준은 “역사적 사건”이며 유대인은 홀로코스트(유대인 대학살), 인디언은 유럽인의 대륙침략이 가장 중요한 역사적 사건으로 기록되었다.

영어 초록

This study examine the characteristics of the rearing of Jewish and Indians child.
This study analyzes and compares other variables basing on Bronfenbrenner 's ecological systems theory. The goal of this study is to provide a basic research method for alternative ways in child rearing and holistic child development for the future.
The research results are as follows.
Based on the comparison between microsystem and mesosystem, the differentiating standard is "home". And the father was the center for the Jewish family center, whereas it was mother for the Indian family.
The main differentiating standard in ecology of human development was ‘educational system’ and in Jewish educational system is free compulsory education from the age of 5 to 16. The child will choose to go to regular school or religious schools with consent with the parent and the schools are operated under its self regulatory education.
The Indian educational system follows that of the US’s education system and it is divided by elementary school, middle school, technical college, college and professional school. The free compulsory education is up to high school and it was called the "education heaven"as the scholarship support was advanced in US, however, this did not adjust to the Indian education system. In the macrosystem, the differentiating standard was the religion and the Jewish religions are divided by Judaism, Mohammedanism, Christian, Druze. Out of these, Judaism is the largest and the Indian religion has shown similarity with the Totemisn which worships nature and animals. In chronological differentiation was "historical incident" and the Jewish records the holocaust, and the Indians records the invasion of Europe as the most important historical incident.
