본 연구는 통합교육 환경 하에 있는 대학생들의 스트레스와 스트레스 대처전략을 파악해봄으로서 학교적응의 주요 요인인 스트레스관리와 관련된 프로그램 개발의 경험적 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 통합교육 환경 하의 대학생들의 스트레스 및 대처 전략에 관해서 경기도에 위치한 P시의 H대학의 재학생 가운데 232명을 대상으로 조사하였다.
대학생의 장애유무별에 따른 스트레스와 스트레스 대처전략, 그리고 스트레스와 통합교육 인식간의 상관 관계를 살펴본 결과를 토대로 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애학생과 비장애학생 간의 생활스트레스 경험 정도간에 차이가 있었는데, 장애학생이 학업과 친구관계, 그리고 이성친구와의 관계에서 더 많은 스트레스를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애유무에 따른 학년별 생활스트레스에서 장애학생들의 경우, 학년별 스트레스 경험빈도에서 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, 중요도에서 장래 문제 부분에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 그리고 비장애학생들의 경우, 가족관계에서 1학년과 2학년 사이에서 유의미한 차가 나타나 1학년 학생들이 가족관계와 관련해서 더 많은 스트레스를 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장애유무별 스트레스 대처 전략 차이에서 장애유무에 따른
스트레스 대처전략에 차이를 보였다. 장애학생들이 스트레스 대처 전략에 있어서 사회적 지지추구와 회피중심의 전략을 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 장애유무에 따른 학년별 스트레스 대처전략에 있어서, 비장애 학생의 경우, 유의미한 차이가 없었지만, 장애학생의 경우, 학년에 따른 스트레스 대처전략에 있어서 문제해결중심 대처 전략면에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 다섯째, 스트레스와 통합교육 인식과의 상관관계에 있어서 통합환경과 스트레스 대처전략, 스트레스 경험 빈도에 있어서 유의한 상관 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 통합교육 환경은 장애학생과 비장애학생 모두에게 스트레스 원으로 작용할 수 있으며, 어떻게 적응을 해나가는가에 따라 보다 긍정적인 혹은 부정적인 스트레스 대처전략을 발달시킬 수 있다.

영어 초록

This research made survey of the stress of college students and the strategy on it under the circumstances of inclusive education from 232 students of H College in the P city located at Gyeonggi province. We found out the relationship between the stress and the knowledge of inclusive education, as well as the stress and the strategy on it according to the presence of handicapped students. The result of this study is as follows.
The first thing shows we can understand is that some handicapped students are suffer from learning, friendship and genders relationship, though the stress that both of them have experience in life has some gaps between the handicapped and the non-handicapped.
The second thing shows some significant differences in the problems about future at importance part, in a case of the handicapped under stress by each grade towards the presence of disorders, despite of no significant differences in the frequency of experience with each grade's stress. In a case of the non-handicapped, there are some significant differences in family relationship between freshmen and sophomores, and we can find that the freshmen have more stress than sophomores with regard to the family relationship.
The third finds there are some differences in strategys on a disorder according to the presence of disorders. And The handicapped students usually make too much use of the strategy for social support pursuit and an avoidance-orientated.
The fourth, for the non-handicapped, it is not very different from themselves to work out strategy on dealing with each grade's stress towards the presence of disorders. Meanwhile, for the handicapped it is very different to think out strategy on doing that particularly in the part of settlements with any problems that they focus attention on.
The final thing says inclusive environment, strategy on the stress and frequency of stress experience have great significant relationship with one another in the relationship between stress and inclusive educational recognition.
Therefore, The effect of inclusive educational environment may be to cause any stress factor to both the handicapped and the non-handicapped.
One may improve the more positive or even negative strategy on the stress, as depending on how to going on adapting.
