최근 들어 중 · 장년층의 사람들 중 지나친 영양섭취와 기계문명의 발달에 의한 선체활동 감소는 운동부족으로 씨어져 답기야 섬장질환l 고혈압/ 당뇨/ 골다공증등의 성인 병을 유발하는 위험요인이 되고 있으며l 그중에서도 중 · 장년의 여성은 갱년기를 맞이 하면서 매우중요하고 다양한 생활의 변화와 생리적 현상에 직면하게된다. The purpose of this study is to observe and compare the cardiorespiratory response to maximal exercise and anaerobicthreshold loading in pre and post-climacteric women(31-Wyr).Anthropometric and aerobic capacity were measured in two age groups. Fourty voltmteers particpated in this study,and they grouped by the age and exercise training, classified into four groups : younger middle-aged women exercisegroup(YM1NE, n=10) ; younger middle-aged women control group(YMWC, n=10) ; older middle-aged women exercisegroup(OMWE, n=10) ; older middle-aged WOl1)2Il control group(OMWC, n=lD).The results of anthropometric and cardilpulmonary capacity were compared among each groups.The older middle-aged women group had more adipose tessue(p≪l.05), lower HRrest(p<O.01), lower HRmax(p<O.01) andVQmax(mk'/kg . min)(p<O.01). but VEmax had no significant difference between the 2 groups.The HRrest of the OMWE were lower than that of YMWE(p<O.05), YMWC group(p<O.05), but HRrnax had nosignificantly difference between the 4 groups. The VQmax(mUkg . min) of YMWC were lower than that of YMWE andthat of OMWE were significantly higher than that of YMWC(p<O.01) and OMWC(p<O.01). The METmax of the YMWEwere higher than that of YMWC(p<O.01), OMWE(P<O.01), OMWC(p<O.01). Qpulse were highest YMWE(p<O.01), and theRERmax were highest OMWE(p<O.01).Both RR and VTmax0/min) were lowest OMWC(p<O.05), (p<O.01), and the VEmax of YMWE were higher thanOMWC(p<O.01), that of OMWE were higher than Ol1WC(p<O.01). VEjVQmax of the YMWC were highest for the 4groups, but VE/VCQmax had no significantly difference between the four groups.In the level of anaerobic threshold test, the HR of OMWE were higher than that of YMWc, OMWC(p<O.01). The VQof YMWE were higher tl1an YMWC(p<O.01), and that of OMWE were higher than OMIWC(p<O.01). The VE of YMWEwere higher than YMWC(p<O.01), OMWC(p<O.01), and that of OMWE were higher than OMWE(p<O.01). but RER,VEjVQmax, VEjVCQmax had no significantly difference between tlle 4 groups.TIus Shldy was confinned tlle fact that there is effect of cardiorespiratory function and anaerobic threshold throughhabited the exercise participation of climacteric women
