C시내 한 초등학교에서 6학년 남학생이 담임 여교사를 폭행해 충격을 주고 있다. 26일 K교육청에 따르면 지난 23일 오전 C시내 모 초등학교 6학년 담임 A(29)씨는 친구를 괴롭힌 B군(13)을 생활지도하던 중 B군으로부터 주먹으로 머리를 몇 차례 맞았다. 제자에게 폭행을 당한 A씨는 외상은 없지만, 정신적인 충격을 받아 외부와 연락을 끊은 채 병원에서 치료를 받고 있다. C교육지원청은 사건 이후 학생폭력자치위원회를 소집해 학생에 대한 지속적인 관리와 함께 전문가 상담치료를 하기로 결론을 내렸다(조선일보, 2010).영어 초록
"The purposes of this study were to investigate the types of students' misbehaviors perceiving elementary physical education(PE) specialists and how to cope with them. For this purpose, participants consisted of five elementary PE specialists(4 male, 1 female) with purposeful sampling who has worked the career of PE in elementary school located in D city (mean 4.2 years). Data were collected via in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation during 6 months. The collected data were analyzed by process of transcription, coding, and theme formation. Also, in order to enhance the validity of the data collection, triangulation, peer debriefing, and member check techniques were used. Results indicated that the types of students' misbehaviors were passive class participation, mischief, excessive competition, maladjustment of team, sensitivity and peer groups. Their coping strategies were eye contact, contact with classroom teacher, compliment, communication, change(changing) teaching method. The limitations of elementary PE specialists were lack of linking to students' parents and communication problems with classroom teacher, and also there were a variety of educational needs. Based on these findings, we need to pay attention to elementary PE specialist voices to understand students' misbehaviros and reduce them with various strategies.※ Key words : Elementary physical education specialists, misbehaviors, coping strategies"
