한국어 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등 예비교사들의 초․중등․대학교에서의 체육수업 경험에 대한 다양한 이
야기를 통해 체육수업의 교재연구의 방향을 제시하는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여
2008년 1학기 체육과 교육Ⅰ 강의를 수강한 D교육대학교 3학년 35명(남 14명, 여 21명)을 연구 참
여자로, 남, 여 각각 3명을 주요제보자로 하였다. 자료 수집방법은 글쓰기 및 심층면담 등이었으
며, 자료 분석방법은 사례기록법 및 귀납적 범주 분석으로 하였다.
구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
먼저, 크게 부정적 경험: 기나긴 어둠 속 터널, 긍정적 경험: 밝은 희망의 세계로 두 가지로 범
주화 되었고, 부정적 경험: 기나긴 어둠 속 터널은 교사 및 목표의 부재: 이거 체육수업 맞나요?,
대체되는 체육수업: 체육수업 언제하지요?, 틀에 박힌 체육수업: 다람쥐 쳇바퀴 돌기, 소외받는
학생: 영웅 제일주의, 강압적 수업 분위기: 여기가 군대인가요? 로 범주화 되었다. 다음으로 긍정
적 경험: 밝은 희망의 세계로는 칭찬은 고래도 춤추게 한다, 성공으로 얻은 자신감, 체계적인 기
초, 기본교육으로 범주화 되었다. 마지막으로 체육수업 교재연구의 방향은 교사 및 목표의 부재,
대체되는 체육수업을 위해서 교재연구를 통한 명확한 목표 제시, 틀에 박힌 체육수업, 체계적인
기초, 기본교육을 위해서 교재연구를 통한 교육과정 및 교과서 재구성, 소외받는 학생, 강압적 수
업 분위기, 칭찬은 고래도 춤추게 한다, 성공으로 얻은 자신감을 위해서 교재연구를 통한 수준별
수업으로 제시하였다.

영어 초록

The purpose of the study was to suggest a desirable direction for physical education to
student teachers; the goal was to help them to remove any negative experiences that they may
have had in their elementary, middle, and high school physical education classes, which would
in turn help them to develop positive perspectives and influences on their own future physical
education classes. The data were obtained from written narratives and in-depth interviews
regarding the student teachers' past experiences of physical education classes during their
school years (as mentioned above). This study adopted a data analysis method of case
recording and an inductive analysis of categories. The participants of the study were 35 student
teachers (14 male and 21 female) who attended Physical education and Education I lectures
which were offered in the first semester of 2008 by the department of Physical Education at the
college of education at D national university. Furthermore, 3 male and 3 female students were
selected as the main informants of the study. The results of the study are as follows: First, the
negative experiences are categorized as: The long tunnel in the dark due to the absence of
teachers and purpose (Is this a physical class?), The replaced physical education class (When
do I have physical education?), Conventional physical education class (squirrels which repeat
the same thing over and over), Isolated student (heroism) and oppressive atmosphere of class
(Is this the army?); Second, the positive experiences are categorized as: Word of praise for the
hopeful world that enables a whale to dance, and Confidence from success, systematic
foundation․basic education. Finally, the teaching materials should be categorized into clear
instructional objective presentation from study of teaching materials, curriculum & textbook
reconstruction from study of teaching materials, and level-differentiated teaching materials.
