본 연구는 민간어린이집 보육교사의 교육신념과 교사효능감 및 직무만족도 사이에어떠한 관계가 있는지를 살펴보고 마지막으로 교육신념과 교사효능감이 직무만족도
에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 울산의 민간 어린이집 교
사 384명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 F검증, Pearson의 적률상관계수를 산출,
위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 민간 어린이집 보육교사의 교육신념 및 교
사효능감과 직무만족도 사이의 관계를 알아본 결과 교육신념과 교사효능감, 직무만
족도는 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 민간 어린이집 보육교사의 교육신념
및 교사효능감이 직무만족도에 미치는 상대적인 영향을 알아본 결과, 교사효능감과
상호작용주의 교육신념 순으로 설명력을 나타냈다. 즉 상호작용주의 교육신념을 가
지고 교사효능감이 높은 교사일수록 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
영어 초록
This study aims to examine the existence of differences in educational convictionand a sense of efficacy, and the level of work satisfaction in accordance with the
background variables of nursery teachers at private nurseries. The study also aims to
examine the relationship between educational conviction and a sense of efficacy, and
work stresses, as well as to examine the relative strength of the influence of educational
conviction and a sense of efficacy on the level of work satisfaction. For this purpose,
a questionnaire survey was carried out using 384 private nursery teachers in Ulsan
City as the subjects. F test was performed by using SPSS 18.0 and Pearson’s
product-moment correlation was computed. Hierarchical regressive analysis was
performed to find the relative strength of the influence of educational conviction and
a sense of efficacy on the level of work satisfaction. The results show that maturation
educational conviction, among the background variables of private nursery teachers,
had a significant impact on educational conviction, while work experiences and the
prescribed maximum number of children had a significant impact on the sense of
efficacy. Also, the major area of study, the prescribed maximum number of children
and the participation of teachers in evaluation certification had a significant impact
on the level of work satisfaction. As in the results of the examination of the relationship
between educational conviction and a sense of efficacy of private nursery teachers with
their level of work satisfaction, educational conviction and a sense of efficacy were
found to have a significant correlation with the level of work satisfaction. As in the
results of the examination of the relative effect of educational conviction and a sense
of efficacy of private nursery teachers on the level of work satisfaction, the ability
to explain was found to be in the order of interactionism and a sense of efficacy among
educational conviction. That is, teachers with interactionistic educational conviction and
a higher sense of efficacy would have a higher level of work satisfaction.
