Internal Improvement between 1820 and 1840 is one of the critical and controversial events. Until now, the general interpretations about these controversies have focused about President Jackson's real message and meaning in these problems. Jackson insisted that he never permit national funds to use within states' boundaries. And so, he put his veto on these internal Improvements.'Why did he submit a lot of vetoes about these problems. One explainable interpretation, I insist, is his firm cause and political thought on the States' Right He was not a real politician. He was a frontier-man, general, indian fighter. He never respect all kinds of politicians. He respects agrarians and their way of life. And so, he dreamed a real utopian republic in the New World. He utilized State as an ideological state section and boundary to enforce an earthly utopian state.
When the United States of America had been being established in the New World from 1776 and 1789, the Founding Fathers insisted the new nation should be a republican and its self-control and appropriative tenitorial scale be based on the States that .earlier colonial times had been established, were much more important Sovereignty Units than Union Rights.
These traditional American causes have effected on Jackson political thought and he firmly supported these Jeffersonian and Madisonian Traditions and States Right And so, the Jacksonian Democracy symbolized the very States' Right.
Now, I realized his many vetoes about internal improvements was originated from his firm cause about States' Right. Although many historians insisted Jackson's vetoes did from revenge against his political enemies, for example, Henry Clay of Kentucky, I found much more important fact than any other fact that his firmly cause of States' Right. If the Administration had intervened the very independence States Right, America's Republicanism would have disrupted. It was his States' Right that his many vetoes about internal improvements submitted.
