본 논문은 오늘날 우리 교육이 갖고 있는 문제점을 공공성의 문제로 보면서, 공공성 회복을 위한
공교육 철학의 토대로 아리스토텔레스의 철학을 검토하고 있다. 특히 아리스토텔레스의 ?정치학?과
?니코마코스 윤리학?을 중심으로 공동체로서의 폴리스, 폴리스 내에서의 시민적 삶과 삶의 가장 최
고 목적인 최고선, 즉 행복론, 행복한 삶을 위한 요소로서 아리스토텔레스의 덕에 대한 철학을 분석
하고 있다. 이러한 검토 및 분석 과정에서 폴리스의 최고 목적과 그 구성원 삶의 목적은 본성상 완전
해지는 것임을 확인할 수 있었다. 아리스토텔레스는 시민적 삶을 쾌락적 삶, 정치적 삶, 관조적 삶(철
학적 삶)으로 설명하면서 철학적 삶의 최고성을 설명하고 있지만, 그것은 정치적 삶, 즉 공공적 삶과
의 연속선상에서 이해할 필요가 있음을 볼 수 있었다. 이는 아리스토텔레스의 ‘덕’에 대한 논의에서
확인 할 수 있는바, 실천적 지혜에 대한 아리스토텔레스의 논의는 교육적 측면에서 심사숙고, 습관,
경험에 기초한 교육과정의 재검토로 이어질 필요가 있음을 인식할 수 있었다.

영어 초록

The public education plays a very important role in the current society. Thus the social interest in the
public education is considered to be very high. Students are eager to learn in the school, but the
educational situation is to consider as a happy one, because they are exposed to the human and social
problems which are not easy to be settled down reasonably. Can be said that an important subject of
education unhappy these unfortunate circumstances by the end of the training, and that making the
students in the happiness of life is the negative impact will be. What is the purpose of our human life?
Aristotle was happy about this as the answer. Should have the happiness of human excellence, and this is
a normal human excellence among our pursuit of excellence in practical wisdom that Aristotle should have
said. But modern education entrance examination-oriented education and quantified due to a number of
assessments associated with the lives of students and teachers to be outside for the problem. Thus,
Aristotle's practical wisdom of school education What is the meaning of these practical methods for
cultivating wisdom about what is the research study. Measures to foster the development of a specific
model is not intended to foster practical wisdom for students to explain each of the elements necessary to
satisfy wants to reveal. Students are unhappy situation is more precise, for the study of his life and be
happy situation is not acceptable, an effort can be called. To overcome this habit of Aristotle's practical
wisdom that is, different experiences, attitudes deliberation, the selection of the correct decision
empowerment that they need to develop. Practical wisdom and the confidence of the students in a very
positive influence, and I think that this trust can help students to teaching respect for the voice of social
criticism as I think they can fix.
