The situated learning is the integrating approach of the objectivism and theconstructivism. Based on the foundations of the WOO (Web-based Multi-UserDimensions, Object Oriented) system, the framework of situated learning are wellembodied. This paper describes design, development, and implementation of aweb-based situated learning environment of SKWOOLE (Situated Korean WOOLearning Environment). The results were based on the collected data from thelearning activities, responses, and performance of 27 pre-teacher students learningin SKWOOLE. The focus of this contribution is to provide the framework of situatedlearning for development of a learning environment in WOO system. These findingswill provide examples showing how it can be used to enhance conceptualunderstanding and problem solving, participation into the learning activities, andconstruction of a community.
