수업실습의 메타교육적 가능성 탐색

교사양성과정의 일환(一環)으로 운영되는 ‘교육실습’과 관련된 기존 연구의 대부분은 몇 가지 측면에서 오류를 범하고 있다. 첫째, ‘교육실습’ 과정 속에는 분화된 다양한 영역의 실습이 존재함에도 불구하고 이 모든 영역을 ‘교육실습’이라는 하나의 통합된 형태로 연구하였고 둘째, 학교에서 이루어지는 현장실습을 모두 교육으로 오인함으로 인해 ‘교육실습’을 하나의 현상으로 구성된 단일한 실재(實在)로 보는 잘못된 관점을 가졌으며 셋째, 교육을 다른 것과 구분할 수 있는 교육학 나름의 고유한 개념과 이론의 부재로 교육현상이나 교육적 사실을 타학문적 관점에서 연구하였다. 이로 인해 학교현장실습으로서의 ‘교육실습’은 그 과정 속에 존재하는 교육현상을 발견하고 이를 이론적으로 설명할 수 있는 가능성을 놓쳐 버렸다. 이에 본 연구는 ‘교육실습’을 교육을 교육하는 실습으로 발전할 수 있는 이론적 근거를 마련하기 위해 수업실습을 메타교육이라는 교육적 관점에서 그 가능성을 탐색해 보았다. 특히 이 연구에서는 하화를 소재로 한 상구와 하화의 협동교육 구조 그리고 특수메타교육의 측면에서 수업실습의 메타교육적 가능성을 발견할 수 있었다.

영어 초록

Earlier studies of ‘education internship program’ that is conducted as one of preservice teacher training courses have mostly made some errors. First, there are a variety of segmented areas in ‘education internship program’, but these studies have treated all the areas as a single area of ‘education internship program’. Second, every kind of teaching practicum is misunderstood as education, and ‘education internship program’ is mistakenly viewed as a single activity of education composed of a single phenomenon as a consequence. Third, there aren`t yet unique well-established concepts nor theories to make pedagogy differentiated from other disciplines, and educational phenomena and educational facts are subsequently researched from perspectives of other disciplines whose systems are different from that of pedagogy. All the situations result in making it difficult to explain educational phenomena that students face while they engage in ‘education internship program’ as one of practical courses. The purpose of this study was to examine the possibility of teaching practicum as meta education from an educational standpoint of meta-education in an effort to lay the theoretical foundation for the development of ‘education internship program’ into ‘practice that educates teaching’. It`s specifically meant to shed new light on the possibility of teaching practicum as meta- education in terms of the ascending-descending structure of educooperation and possibility as special meta-education.
