This study examined the general tendency as to simulated psychological control and social
anxiety among those 5th and 6th elementary students. Moreover, this study analyzed the relative
influence between sociodemographic variable related to social anxiety, simulated psychological
control. Hereupon, this study calculated frequency and percentage in order to identify the general
characteristics of the aforementioned subjects. This study also calculated Cronbach′s α
coefficient in order to verify the reliability of the test tool. To reveal the relative influence
between sociodemographic variable related to social anxiety and psychological control, this study
conducted hierarchical regression after calculating Pearson’s product-moment correlation
coefficient. The summary of the results of this study is as follows. First, this study examined
the general tendency of social anxiety and simulated psychological control among children. As
a result thereof, In regard to the sub-factors of social anxiety, interpersonal anxiety had the
highest level, followed by performance anxiety. In contrast, a large number of the children
perceived simulated psychological control as dependence orientation, whereas a smaller number
thereof perceived it as achievement orientation. Second, this study analyzed the relative influence
as to interpersonal anxiety and performance anxiety that was the sub-variable of social anxiety.
