This study aimed to find out what impact of the class discourses of ‘Son of mother’s friend’ and‘Gold-spoon’ to the parents and children on modern society, and to describe the process of recreating
their new stories of independent lives from the discourses through therapeutic conversation. Through
the interview, this study searched out how parents-children to accept the current class discourse, and
determined the possibility of deconstruction of the discourse. Then researcher organised a new parent
group. They read the picture book, talked about their own opinions, tried to deconstruct dominant
prejudices, shared new-creating perspectives of the current class discourse based on the contents of
the other's interview as well as their life-stories. Through this therapeutic discussion, participant
parents and children could find out positive and appropriate meaning about the current dominant
class discourse, ‘Son of mother’s friend’ and ‘Gold-spoon’. In the conclusion, this study would insist
that the therapeutic discussion of deconstruction and re-authorization effectively applies on the people
who experience alienation from the dominant discourse in the recent society as well as those who
need treatment in clinical practice.
