Shape-Up Fitness Center is a gym opening up in North West Calgary, providing individuals with healthier lifestyles through:

1. A Gym –circuit area, cardio area, women’s only area, weight training area
2. Personal Trainers –providing training, nutrition and mean advice

We have done extensive research and conducted that there is a market size within Calgary of 76,858 gym members of people aged 20-50.We have also researched and found that there is numerous competitors, this tells us that there is a viable market for our business. Our goal is to capture approximately 1% of the market share by the end of our first year.

Shape-Up Fitness strives itself on being number one for customer satisfaction. By helping members change their nutrition and eating patterns combined with increased physical activity Shape-Up Fitness will help lower obesity levels, reduce health care expenditures, and the number of deaths associated with physical inactivity. Positive statistics and information about the effects of living a healthy lifestyle are constantly being released, so the time is now for Shape-Up Fitness.
