General Aims of this lesson:
⊙ Students will be able to ask factual information.
⊙ Students will be able to express their experience.
⊙ Students will be able to understand the news articles.
⊙ Students will be able to change a direct speech into an indirect speech.
1) Listening Points:
Students can listen to the tape and understand the situation.
2) Reading Points:
Students can read and understand the author`s purpose.
3) Speaking Points:
Students can share information with others and explain the details.
4) Writing Points:
Students can write a simple sentence about general topic.
5) Communicative Objectives:
① Asking factual information- When did it happened?
② Telling experience- I’ve never



▷Activity
-Now, we did the Warm Up dialogue we will do one more group activity. (Point the flow chart.) I will give you a news article. Here is a clue about the article.
-What is this? Is it big or small? It is a giant rabbit. This rabbit’s name is Darius. He has the record of the biggest rabbit in the Guinness Book.
-Before read the article about this gig rabbit, let`s check the vocabulary first.
(Suggest the picture about meaning of the words)
-Put out the Blue sheet and a pack of yellow card.
-On the Blue paper, here is a headline of the article. Let`s read it altogether.
(Explain the meaning of the headline.)
-Let`s make the cards in order with your group. The numbers are not the answer,
(Show the example.)
I will give a point to the group who finish it at the first time. I will give you 2 minutes.

-Times up. Are you done? Which number should go first?

-Good job. Hand out the white paper to your group. Here is article in order.
-This time we will listen to the article. While you are listening think about the meaning and the connection of the sentences.
