: 처녀성(virginity or youth젊음, 여자의 일생을 함축적으로 나타내고 있음, 절정에 이 르렀다가 지는 인생, 꽃봉우리(순결) → 꽃(절정) → 죽음)
2) How does the title help us the interpret the meaning of the symbol? Why is "virgins" a more meaningful word than, for example, maidens?
: maidens는 단순한 여성, 아가씨, 미혼여성을 의미하지만, 시인이 처녀성(virginity)을 더 강조, 순결한 처녀성을 강조
3) Why is such haste necessary in gathering the rosebuds? True, the blossons die quickly, but they are replaced by others. Who really is dying?
: 꽃봉오리rosebuds는 여자의 젊음, 순결성, 시기가 지나면 지는 꽃봉오리와 같이 여자의 젊음이 지는 것, 인생을 마감하는 황혼을 의미
