1. Brief explanation of the problem
Square root raised cosine filter (srrc_filter) 를 이용한 ‘pulse shaping’을 사용하여 BPSK simulation을 구현해본다. 송신단과 수신단에서의 신호(txmr received signal)에 대한 power spectrum density 를 구하고, AWGN상황에서의 BER 곡선도 확인해 본다.
2. Theory
이번 프로젝트의 전체적인 diagram을 그려보면 다음과 같다.
우선, 임의의 digit signal (1,0,1,1,0…)를 생성한다. 이 신호가 내가 통신하고자 하는 신호이다.
이제 이 신호를 1 → 1, 0 → -1 로 mapping하고, 그 신호를 input signal로 사용한다. 이 input 신호를 filter에 통과시킨 후, ideal channel을 통과시킨다. 따라서 H(f) = 1 이라고 생각하면 된다.
Channel 을 통과한 신호는 송신기에서 쏘아서 수신기에서 받게 된다. 이 과정에서 noise가 삽입된다. Noise가 더해진 수신신호 y(t)는 demodulation filter를 통과 후, sampling과정을 거쳐서 ‘본래의 input signal+ noise’가 더해진 yk를 받게된다.
이 때 filter로 쓰일 Raised cosine filter에 대해서 알아보겠다.
