본문내용
It often takes a leader to create magic with his words. That was what John Fitzgerald Kennedy (May 29, 1917 – November 22, 1963) proved when he addressed an eager gathering on a frosty winter day in January 1961 after being elected as the thirty-fifth president of United States of America. Exhorting the new generation Americans to realize their proud legacy of revolutionary beliefs upholding the divine origin of human rights, the bright and optimistic President envisioned his country that would pioneer the global wave of change in the decades to come. As the political head of one of the most formidable nations on the planet, he believed in nurturing an American populace “tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace”(page 1, para.4), who would not ask “what their country could do for them, but what they could do for their country”.
