1. Introduction.
Thesedays Thermal storage is one of the main parts of a solar heating and power generation system. The earth is in darkness for approximately 180days per year. Therfore heat storage is necessary if we want to use solar energy in the night without any problems. Widely speaking, there have been two approaches to capture the sun’s energy. One is photovoltaics, which turns the sunlight into electricity. Aonther one is solar-thermal systems, which concentrate the sun’s heat and use it to boil water to turn a turbine, or use the heat directly for hot water or home heating. But what I am trying to do is to approach in another way. Besides the method that I have shown you above there is another approach which potential was proved decades ago. Unfortunatility, there were some problems to use it in a practical and economical way.
This approach is thermo-chemical. Solar energy
