2. Discussion
(1) First of all, we may tell the differences between analog circuit and digital circuit. In analog circuit, the output is determined depending on the input signal. In other words, the output signal that we want to obtain could be controlled by input signal. And sometimes, we have to calculate the bias point to maximize the gain, etc. However, in digital circuit, the input signal is either 0 or 1(i.e. low or high). And the output is also either 0 or 1. So we don`t have to calculate bias point, and we have an attention about the proper operation. The important thing in digital circuit is the propagation delay. So digital circuit designers have efforts to reduce the propagation delay and finally optimize the performances.
