1. Object: We can understand the principle of cyclic voltammetry. The HOMO level of organic material can be calculated by using this principle.
2. Apparatus: Cyclic voltammetry system, working electrode (anode, organic material), counter electrode (cathode, Pt), reference electrode (Ag stick with 0.1M AgNO3), 0.1M electrolytic solution (Solvent: 150mL acetonitrile, Solute: 5.115g Bu4NClO4 tetra butyl ammonium perchlorate), Organic material (Alq3, CBP), Solvent (dichloromethane), ITO, sigmaplus software (drawing graph).
3. Method
1) In order to make the 0.1M electrolytic solution, the 150mL acetonitrile is needed as a solvent and 5.115g Bu4NClO4 is needed as a solute.
2) Each organic material (Alq3 and CBP) is dissolved in the dichloromethane solvent. (The concentration of the solution doesn`t matter)
