Measurement of Fluorescent Luminescence
Object: We can know the principal of photoluminescence which is called PL. And we can measure the quantum efficiency (Q.E.) of the fluorescent materials. We can think about the principal of monochrometer.
Apparatus: PL Spectrophotometer, Solvent (Ethanol), Anthracene, CBP, Perylene (reference when we measure the Q.E.), Electric weighing machine, 약숟가락, Paraffin film, Plask
Method <시료 제조>
1. In order to make 10-4M anthracene (molar weight: 178.23g/mol), choose the method of dilution.
2. Put 0.0018g anthracene into plask, and add the solvent until 25mL. Then the total concentration will be 4.04x10-4M.
3. Pick the 5mL solution of No.2 and move the other plask, and add solvent until 20mL full to that plask which has 5mL solution. That can dilute by 1/4 and the concentration of solution will be 1.01x10-4M.
4. In case of CBP (molar weight: 484.19g/mol), put 0.0048g CBP into plask, and add the solvent until 25mL, then do the same process like anthracene. The total concentration will be 0.99x10-4M.
5. In case of perylene(molar weight: 252.32g/mol), put 0.0025g into plask, and add the solvent until 25mL, then do the same process like anthracene. The total concentration will be 0.99x10-4M.
