1. Heart anatomy

-Gap functions
-All or none law
-Automicity (Autorhythmicity)
-Length of Absolute Refractory Period
-nodal system
3. Contraction of cardiac muscle
-mechanism

본문내용
1. Heart anatomy: Location
1. Heart anatomy: anterior view
1. Heart anatomy: frontal section
skeletal muscles
Cardiac muscle cells
- 1 or 2 central nuclei
- semi-spindle shape
electrical link (gap junction)
common contraction (syncytium)
- Almost all aerobic
Skeletal muscle cells
multinucleated
cylindrical shape
no gap junctions
independent contract
anaerobic
skeletal muscles
1. Gap junctions - electrically couple all cardiac muscle cells.
2. All-or-None Law Gap junctions allow activation of a small group of cells spreads entire heart(synchronistic) contraction.
3. Automicity (Autorhythmicity)otor neurons.
4. Length of Absolute Refractory Period - The absolute refractory period of cardiac muscle cells is much longer than skeletal muscle cells (250 ms vs. 2-3 ms).
5. nodal system - special autorhythmic cells of heart that initiate impulses contraction of entire heart
3.Mechanism of Contraction of Cardiac Muscle Fibers
