Analysis of Banksy @ Simpsons HD
This media object is of es ‘The Simpsons’. I will analyse production, the textuality in particular, and reception of this media material. The Simpsons is a well-made program with high budget, so it has drawn large audiences and successfully continued to run its seasons for many years. This clip was produced by the British street artist, Banksy. He has chiefly delivered political or satirical messages, such as injustice, wars, and environmental pollution, by putting graffiti on public places. Banksy, the producer, opens this sequence with his tag scrawled throughout the town of Springfield. In the beginning of the sequence he displays his tag twice, firstly on the Krusty billboard, and secondly on the outer wall of the school. The crooked letters of his tag appear to represent his freewheelingness. Banksy also included a rat which has frequently appeared in his works. He kicked off this intro sequence with a three-eyed crow carrying a dead rodent throug
