Over the last few decades, forests and their management have been considered increasingly important factor in public policy, especially in terms of sustainable development (Hickey and Innes 2005). Public awareness and support (Hickey and Citroen 2007), and enacting legislations for sustainable development (Hall 2001; Pokorny and Adams 2003) enabled a number of sustainable forest management protocols being implemented in the world. The Montreal Process which has implemented since 1995 in 12 countries is one of them. Victorian state government has been implementing a diverse range of mechanisms for environmental sustainability to improve management performance of forests since 1996. The forest management plan in Otway Ranges is published recently, December 2009. From the review of the management plan, understanding of current sustainable forest management trend could be expected to achieve참고 자료
