Let me give an explanation of simple example.
At first, let us suppose that Robinson Crusoe drifted uninhabited island can work for 8 hours and catch 10 fishes on one day and he need 10 fishes for a life. Making a fishing rob take 2 hours. If he would use one fishing rob to fish, he can catch 10 fishes for 6 hours. Like this, using 2 fishing rob is 13 fishes and using 3 fishing rob is 15 fishes. However, the fishing rob can use only 3 days.
On Monday, Robinson spend 2 hours to make the fishing rob and 6 hours to catch the fishes. So, he coundn`t catch 10 fishes on Monday. But Robinson fish with fishing rob and make the fishing rob for 2 hours from Tuesday. Therefore, he catch 10 fishes and can make the fishing rob alose. Tuesday. Therefore, he catch 10 fishes and can make the fishing rob alose. On Wednesday he can catch 13 fishes by 2 fishing robs, on Thursday he can catch 15 fishes by 3 fishing robs. But on the Friday, he can catch 15 fishes, because the fishing rob made in Monday is broken down. On the Saturday, he can cat 15 fishes even now, because the fishing rob made in Tuesday is broken down. An another important things that necessities on one day are 10 fishes, but 5 fishes remain every days. So, he can store up 5 fishes to storing place. Stored fishes could be consumed in buying the newest fishing rob in order to catch more fishes.
