A few months ago, there was a massacre at Virginia Tech University committed by a student who carried guns. This horrible massacre left 32 dead students one professor, and left 15 others injured. As the massacre provoked people’s attention, the endless tragedy of guns again came into their minds, witnessing uncountable victims of indiscriminate shootings. Ironically, in spite of the legality of private gun ownership, the majority of people in the United States still cry against private gun ownership. Not only due to a lot of gun violence involving youth such as school shootings, but also due to a rise in crime rates and threats to our personal safety do many people oppose private gun ownership. Unfortunately, there are many people who misuse guns, rather than people who use guns appropriately, so we need regulations on guns, which are the best way to protect our lives from the danger of guns, alias “the unfortified murder weapons.”참고 자료
