Why can human beings live only on the earth among many planets in space? The reason is because of the temperature of the atmosphere. The earth's air maintains its proper temperature, which allows human survive and breathe. However, as technology and science have developed, there is more carbon dioxide in the air now than all the CO2 that has been produced for the past 650,000 years. This huge amount of carbon dioxide functions as a blanket to stop the earth's heat from getting out (Stop global warming, n.d.)

alternative energy and energy efficiency programs will provide people with many good options such as wind or solar power instead of oil, and can dramatically cut oil use. Therefore, the more clean energy people choose to use, the less carbon dioxide is produced. In addition, if clean energy industries become well rooted, the governments and the companies do not need to have regular meetings anymore. Therefore, considering these advantages, investment in clean energy industries will be better than auctions for emission allowances.
