Should Advertisements Stop Exaggerating?
There was one advertisement slogan back in the day: “Got Milk?” These two words attempted to inform the milk to consumers. Also, its poster expressed some celebrities appeared with a white mustache with a phrase written below the picture, “Make White Mustache.” The white mustache intended to motivate people to drink a cup of milk. From Batman to a popular soccer player, the casting characters were diverse.
According to the article “Ads should stop exaggerating”, the author, Utkash Dubey discusses the problems with exaggerated advertisements. These days, we can see many advertisements containing various expressions, such as the milk advertisement, to draw our attention to their product. However, most of those expressions are generally based on false or misleading facts, and customers are exposed from the information.
