Chapman’s is the largest independent ice-cream products manufacturer in Canada, and its products are for the kids in all of us. The potential target market for our new product of Chapman’s is the children ages from four to twelve year old in Canada. As the child developmental stages, they mainly consider on healthy lifestyle by getting appropriate nutrition to help them grow strong and decrease become obese. Their education level will be at least in kindergarten or higher, so their income is based on the guardians since they do not have enough qualifications to apply for a job. However, the children are very brand conscious. They spend millions annually on retailers, and they like to rate brands on familiarity and quality considerations.
In addition, the children during these ages are like to do hands-on work to increase their level of learning, and they are more interested in the working process than the product. The children are still family oriented, and they like to do activities with their parents or in a group. They generalize from their own experiences and want use their skill to explore the world. The key ways to attract our target market is through creativity, healthiness and skill development.
