Disney is the most powerful company in the world; children from all over the world watch Disney animated films and love them. Disney’s purpose is turning emotional environments into happiness, so there are specific positive emotional outcomes “optimism, contentment, excitement, happiness” for indirect emotional experience (Chytry 260). Children utilize popular Disney stories to better understand their selves and their environment (Tanner 356), and so they are greatly influenced by Disney animated films in developing their social roles and personality. Thus, Disney has an unrivaled position in influencing children. In Disney animated films, there are three categories: family, couples and surrounding environments (society). Several wrong myths and stereotypes of three categories can be found easily in Disney animated films.
