A. Executive summaryGS E&C(the followings are written as GS)’s water business experience is concentrated in the Middle East market. So GS should diversify its market by entering new market.(especially developing countries) As GS already understood the importance of water industry, the industry has enormous opportunity to get in and do business. This is because levels of distribution and usage of water are different by each regional environmental and economic circumstance. When positioning GS to enter foreign markets, GS must consider the differences in legal, political and social environments between home and host countries. Developing an understanding of a foreign country’s business climate and customs is often greatly assisted by developing local relationships. That is to say, GS should understand the driver of water related market such as Water scarcity, regulation, industry (for outsource for non-core), preferred technology. GS also should reinforce internal capabilities – market analysis (such as Target Market segmenting, Market growth analysis) and Global capabilities.
