Alzhimer’s disease(AD) is the most common
neuro-degenerative disorder and most frequent cause of dementia in the eldery.
Aging, the incidence of AD increase with age but is not consider a normal consequence of aging.
In AD, the amount of acetyl choline is diminished. The original strategy to replace acetyl choline was simply to add items like lecithin to the diet. This strategy proved to be ineffective for a number of reasons.
