본문내용
The First Golden Age of Agriculture took place in the United States in the years 1900 to 1920. With a better analysis of the data, the years of peak profit that occurred in 1900-1904 ("Northern Great Plains: Golden Age of Agriculture"), the period of years one chooses to look at the closing of one frontier, and the opening of another -- the dawn of large scale agribusiness -- appears relative to one's position on the role of the federal government in the production of the halcyon days of American agriculture. A closer examination reveals a much more complicated picture.
