본문내용
1. Introduction
Eastern Asian language systems are very different from that of English. Therefore, speakers from Eastern Asian countries such as Korea, Japan and China have difficulties in pronouncing English. Based on this fact, we are going to investigate the each phonetical feature and which country pronounces English best.
2. Korean
1) General Features
① Word order (어순)
Korean's word order is different from English. In Korea, they have Subject-Object-Verb order. But, in English, they have Subject-Verb-Object order. In English, word order is very important because the sentence's meaning depends on the order. On the other hand, in Korean, order is not very important because of 'postposition(조사)'. In Korean, postposition decides the words to subject or object by attaching after them in sentence. So, there is no change of meaning even if the order changes. However, in English, it changes meaning.
