1. Introduction
Purpose of this experiment is to be better understand vectors. Get knowledge about how force adds and Newton's second Law. Progressively, we will also learn about the Hooke’s law. So We can be familiar to vector and physics principle.
2. Theory
- Mass weight
In practical or everyday applications, weight means the same as mass as that term is used in physics. In modern scientific usage, however, weight and mass are fundamentally different quantities. mass is an intrinsic property of matter, whereas weight is a force that results from the action of gravity on matter. it measures how strongly gravity pulls on that matter.
- Newton's second law
Observed from an inertial reference frame, the net force on a particle or object is equal to the time rate of change of its linear momentum. This law is often stated 'Force equals mass times acceleration : the net force acting on an object is equal to the mass of the object multiplied by its acceleration.'
