I.Introduction

Foreign trade policy is the general policy or measure that one by which one country intervenes for its own and specific economic purposes.
In the narrow view, trade policy measure can be shown by tariff & non-tariff barriers which directly affect the trade of the country, currency-management policy, and other corporate policy with economic organizations.
In the wider view, however, all the economic policy which indirectly could be related to the trade policy, such as financial policy, currency policy, or price regulation policy are included.
In this paper, we would firstly like to clarify what ‘the developed countries’ are.
We would like to identify, especially, which ‘economically’ developed countries are. And, with the definition, we will briefly look over the common characteristics of economically developed countries’ trade policy. The three characteristics are, as to be explained in detail, FTA, Protectionism, and economic patriotism.
