Embryo folding
배아가 성장하면서 folding하는 과정을 모식화한 것입니다.
배쪽과 등쪽의 elongation 정도 및 속도의 차이, 양쪽 limb의 성장 정도와 속도의 차이 등에 의해 embryo folding이 이루어집니다.

• Foregut
extends from the buccopharyngeal membrane to the septum transversum
• Midgut
communicates with vitelline tube and yolk sac
• Hindgut
communicates with the allantoic diverticulum and extends to the cloacal membrane

Gut는 크게 foregut, midgut, hindgut으로 구분됩니다.
기준이 되는 midgut은 vitelline tube (난항관)를 통해 yolk sac과 연결되고 이후 small bowel부터 T-colon 2/3까지를 형성되는 부분입니다.
Foregut은 pharynx부터 septum transversum까지를 가르킵니다.
Hindgut은 이후 T-colon distal area와 anus로의 연결 부분 및 비뇨기과적 organ이 형성되는 영역이 되겠습니다.
