ROV(Remoted Operation Vehicle)
ROV is vehicle which remotely operated.
and The unmanned vehicle for exploation and drilling. Though controller mounted on mother ship,
ROV can control remotely sub work.
ROV can be difficult work. for example, ROV mainly do these works.
1. Exploation of seabed resourses
2. operation of salvage of sinking ship
3. Remove oil of sea
4. Installation of submarine cable
5. Installation or Repair of various submarine structure
Rov is very important vehicle. Because ROV performs many works which not be able to through the person.
AUV(Autonomous Underwater vehicle)
Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), also known as unmanned underwater vehicles, can be used to perform underwater survey missions such as detecting and mapping submerged wrecks, rocks, and obstructions. The AUV conducts its survey mission without operator intervention. AUV is attached GPS and sensor which can measure Conductivity,Temperature, Depth. and AUV also be used marine incident response and port security surveys.
