본문내용
Cancer is uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cell and it is considered as the most dangerous diseases to human. According to the statistics on “American Cancer Society”, about 577,190 Americans are dying from cancer in a year, more than 1,500 people a day. Among all kinds of cancer, lung cancer is the most common type of cancers in both men and women worldwide (Stopller). Furthermore, lung cancer is considered as the leading cause of cancer death worldwide. Each year, 1.4 million people died from lung cancer (American). Like any other types of cancer lung cancer is basically caused due to abnormal growth of cells in one of body parts, lungs. The cancer cell grows in the tissues of the lungs or the lining the airway. It most commonly spreads to the brain, bones and livers through blood vessels or the lymph system. When the mutated cell, tumor, has spread to other organs, the survival rate drops to 3.5 percent (“11 Facts About Lung Cancer”). That is why lung cancer is considered as hardest cancer to cure.참고 자료
