본문내용
Kelly :
We had an election for the 19th president of the Republic of Korea
on May 9. The election is the first after the impeachment
of the president. So the public interest was very high.
Anyone over 19 years old can exercise valuable voting rights.
I think we should all vote.
Did everybody vote?
Sara, Gwan :
Yes, I voted. / Yes.
Sara :
Our country puts a picture of the candidate to the right to vote, and puts it in the ballot box so we can't see what we've voted for to vote.
Kelly :
Yes, that’s right.
Let's talk about how different countries go to vote in their
elections before we talk about the full-scale story.
Gwan :
I researched about voting in Japan. Japan's voting style is very analog.
They must write down the names of the candidates and
the names of the candidates on the ballot.
The reason is to save money.
Kelly :
In Canada, They vote by checking the name of the candidate
with a pencil. And in France, they vote for ballot papers
with their favorite candidate and vote in an envelope.
