The purpose of this experiment is to obtain a convection heat transfer coefficient. 15W of electrical power was applied to the circular cylinder to make the cylinder hot, and to pump the air into forced convection. When the temperature no longer changed, we measured pressure difference and the temperature difference between the surface temperature and the air temperature. The heat transfer coefficients are obtained using Newton's cooling law and correlation equation. When comparing the heat transfer coefficient obtained in each region with the experimental results, the errors in the laminar were 2.7%, the turbulence was 8%, and the transition was 33.2%, and the Reynolds number was 13449.5. After comparing and examining regions, we concluded that turbulence was appropriate. Heat transfer happens best when flow is turbulence.
