크라우드펀딩은 기업가들이 벤처캐피털 회사를 우회하고, 지리가 더 이상 중요하지 않은 온라인에서 많은 잠재적 발명가에 도달할 수 있게 해준다.
However, it's worth considering what level of investment you need.
하지만 어느 정도의 투자가 필요한지는 고려해 볼 만하다.
Last year, crowdfunding raised $4bn for entrepreneurs in the U.S., yet venture capital firms invested over $60bn.
작년에 크라우드펀딩은 미국의 기업가들을 위해 4억 달러를 모금했지만, 벤처 캐피털 회사들은 60억 달러 이상을 투자했다.
So, while crowdfunding may be an attractive option, investment from venture capitalist is still much higher.
그래서 크라우드펀딩이 매력적인 선택일지라도, 벤처캐피털리스트로부터의 투자는 여전히 훨씬 더 높다.
*The latter is certainly something I'd recommend to entrepreneurs with large projects, or those who need expertise and support to help get their project off the ground.
