Kangsik: I’m so excited. It’s been a while since I came to the exhibition. Especially, I used to like Van Gogh’s painting style. Wow look at it. It’s a video about how he lived and died.
Barthes: What you feel about this video such as joyfulness derives from an average effect which comes from certain training. We call them studium. It’s stadium that you are interested in this video whether you perceive it as historical story or information of how he lives.
Kangsik: Oh you mean my feeling is affected by culture? what do you think about it, Benjamin?
Benjamin: Well.. The possibility of technological cloning of artwork has changed the public attitude toward art like this video. The Van Gogh’s paintings in this video is also one of the number of duplicate copies. Accordingly, as the social importance of any art form decreases, the critical attitude and emotional attitude of the acceptor becomes increasingly detached. There is no direct restriction by the group from the start.
