Introduction:
The following experiment is conducted to determine thermodynamic properties in the dissolution of Borax. This is done by calculating the standard entropy and enthalpy value to obtain Gibb’s free energy. The details of the conductance of experiment will be shown in the following section (experimental procedure).
The equation for Gibb’s free energy when it is proportional to the equilibrium constant can be expressed as: ΔG°=-RT lnK. In this following equation, K represents the equilibrium constant, which is the representation of reactants and products in the equilibrium system in their constant states.

Discussion:
The results show that change in Gibb’s free energy at 298K is around 10.434 kJ/mol when the standard enthalpy change is 22.638 kJ/mol and standard entropy change is 40.954 J/mol∙K. The graph is plotted from the experiment conducted at 6 different temperature condition.
